Person of interest linked to disappearance of Avondale woman facing charges

AVONDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — The Avondale Police Department confirmed a person of interest is facing charges in connection with the disappearance of 21-year-old Isabella Comas, who sparked a Turquoise Alert earlier this week.

Avondale police said they spoke with Tommy Rodriguez, 39, of Phoenix, who was identified as a “romantic partner” of Comas. Records showed he was booked into the Maricopa County jail on accusations of criminal damage, auto theft, and a probation violation, all felonies.

Rodriguez made his initial court appearance around 3 p.m. Thursday, where prosecutors claimed he was the “primary investigative lead in another critical investigation.”…
