Indiana man arrested after beating alleged hotel intruder with lamp in Tempe

TEMPE, AZ — A 41-year-old Indiana man was arrested after allegedly beating a hotel guest with a metal lamp at a Tempe hotel, leaving the victim with life-threatening injuries, including brain damage and skull fractures.

The Indiana man was arrested early Wednesday morning at Metro Tempe Extended Stay on Southern Avenue after police responded to 911 calls.
