Man hospitalized after shooting outside QuikTrip store in east Phoenix

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Police are investigating a shooting outside an east Phoenix convenience store that left a man seriously injured Friday morning.

Shortly before 8 a.m., officers were called to a QuikTrip store at 44th and Oak streets, between Thomas and McDowell roads. There, they found a man with at least one gunshot wound.

Phoenix police say he was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Detectives are investigating. No information about a possible suspect has been released…
