PHOENIX — The first STARLUX Airlines flight from Taipei landed at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport earlier this week.
The nonstop service between Taipei Taoyuan International Airport and Phoenix was announced in May 2025 and officially began on Thursday. It is expected to produce significant economic benefits for the Valley.
“This is a milestone event for the city of Phoenix. STARLUX was the first to commit to ending Phoenix being the only major American city without nonstop service to and from Asia,” Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego said in a press release. “STARLUX’s new service between Phoenix and Taipei opens the door to expanded tourism, stronger business relationships and new opportunities for companies looking to invest in our fast-growing and vibrant region.”…
