As a wedding photographer, Jenaya Devereaux knows firsthand how attire can impact photo aesthetics. So, for her engagement party on Sept. 10 at her parents’ home in North Scottsdale, Arizona, the 23-year-old bride-to-be gave her 65 guests a dress code.
Devereaux was flexible on style, but “strongly encouraged” her friends and family to “stay within a color palette of blues, grays, and black” to fit her “On Cloud 9” party theme. She even included a color “cheat sheet” with the invitation.
