Zipline to launch drone delivery service in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Instead of depending on ground service for food, health and other consumer supplies, Phoenix residents will soon be able to utilize drone delivery through American robotics company, Zipline.

Zipline already serves Pea Ridge, Arkansas, and Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, and is expanding its range to include Phoenix and Houston in early 2026. It also services five countries in Africa (Rwanda, Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and Cote D’Ivoire).

Prospective customers will be able to order “tens of thousands of items” via the Zipline app, and orders will come in as few as 10 minutes, according to a press release…
