MESA, Ariz. — Traveling 90 mph and running red lights, Mesa police say 35-year-old Denzel Franklin had no regard for anyone, including his six-year-old son.
“Our priority is to make sure the victims are safe,” Mesa Police Public Information Officer Jose Aguirre said. “In this case, we had a very aggressive suspect who assaulted his significant other and bystanders. Furthermore, we knew this person was intoxicated and had a six-year-old in the back seat.”
Aguirre says on January 18th, just after 10 p.m., a 911 call came in from someone who had been approached by a woman asking for help. The woman, it seems, gets on the phone with authorities asking for help…
