Chandler Unified selects next district superintendent

CHANDLER, Ariz. — One of the Valley’s largest school districts has selected its next superintendent.

Anna Battle, the deputy superintendent for Roosevelt School District, was selected by the Chandler Unified School District Board this week to assume the role of superintendent after Frank Narducci retires at the end of June.

Battle will be taking over as superintendent at a time when several Valley school districts are grappling with the troubling trend of declining enrollment.
