A driver in Phoenix, Arizona, spotted something small and white wobbling on the edge of a freeway ramp. As they got closer, their heart sank.
It was a tiny kitten, completely alone, dangerously balanced above the busy highway.
Worried the little one could get hurt, or worse, the driver didn’t hesitate and called the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) for help.
Two members of their incident response team, Travis Benthin and Derik Woitaszewski, were sent to assess the situation…
