MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — Police say a man is in the hospital after he and another man shot at each other during a road rage dispute in Mesa Wednesday morning.
According to Det. John Dreyer with Mesa Police, the road rage incident initially began near the intersection of Greenfield Road and University Drive. Det. Dreyer said two drivers got into an altercation, which ended with both shooting at each other in the area of 39th Way and University Drive, east of Val Vista Drive.
One of the drivers involved in the road rage was struck by the gunfire, according to Dreyer. While his condition remains unknown, police say he was alert when first responders arrived. The second driver involved in the road rage was not hurt.
A third vehicle that was not involved was struck by gunfire, police said. However, no one inside that vehicle was hurt…
