PHOENIX (AZFamily) — An active police investigation has closed a major road in west Phoenix on Friday night and well into Saturday morning.
Just before 11 p.m., Phoenix Police were dispatched to the area of Broadway Road and 55th Avenue for reports of an “object off the roadway that appeared to be a body,” according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Officers found the object covered in various materials and called detectives to the scene. Authorities have not determined whether the object contains human remains…
