Loop 101 reopens after rollover crash in north Phoenix; 2 hospitalized

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A north Phoenix freeway is back open after a serious crash sent two people to the hospital Monday morning.

The collision happened around 10:30 a.m. on the westbound Loop 101 Agua Fria freeway near 27th Avenue, just east of the Interstate 17 transition.

An Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesperson said only one vehicle was involved in a rollover. Two people were taken to the hospital, including one in serious condition.

Westbound lanes were closed for just under two hours as authorities worked to clear the collision. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by DPS…
