PHOENIX — Approximately three hours southwest of Phoenix, the small Mexican town of Los Algodones is making a big impact on American healthcare consumers seeking affordable alternatives to skyrocketing U.S. medical costs.
With a population of just 5,000 residents, Los Algodones has earned the nickname “Molar City” for its concentration of dental clinics and pharmacies catering to American patients.
