A Phoenix man was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026, for the Dec. 29, 2024, stabbing death of 29-year-old Reminisce Biddle, after prosecutors said video and transactional evidence tied him to the knife used in the attack.
Police said Biddle was initially stabbed near 3rd Avenue and Osborn Road after a brief exchange of words. Wounded, he rode his bicycle to a Safeway near 5th Avenue and Osborn Road, where employees tried to help him until first responders arrived. He was later pronounced dead at a hospital. Detectives zeroed in on a suspect based on evidence collected at the scene, according to Arizona’s Family.
Video and Debit Card Trail Tie Suspect to Knife
Prosecutors told the court that surveillance footage showed the defendant buying a knife with his debit card at the grocery store and said the blade matched the wound that killed Biddle. As reported by 12 News, those transactions and the video were central to the prosecution’s case. “The defendant turned a brief encounter into a moment of violence, taking Reminisce’s life and leaving his family with irreparable loss,” Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell said in a statement.
