Airline crew honors veteran returning from first Vietnam visit since POW imprisonment

PHOENIX — United States Air Force veteran Bob Jeffrey and his wife, Jean Jeffrey, were on a flight home to Phoenix on Sunday after an important trip to Vietnam.

Jeffrey went to the country for the first time since he was released as a prisoner of war during the Vietnam War. While it must have been a powerful trip filled with a variety of emotions, the special moments didn’t end there.
