The days of lots of extra dollars coming into Chandler’s coffers are over.
“We’ve had the luxury over the last few years to always come in above, [but] we’re coming in pretty much spot on,” said Dawn Lang, Chandler’s assistant city manager and chief financial officer. “We’re really operating on what we believe is truly the revenue levels that we’re going to see.”
The expansion of Intel’s Ocotillo campus led to a lot of extra one-time dollars being available for the city to use. However, construction of the two new fabs is winding down…
