PHOENIX — The driver of a sports car was going more than 130 mph before causing a crash that killed him and the driver of another car in Queen Creek, officials with the city’s police department said.
The crash happened near Riggs and Ellsworth roads just before 11 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 13, when police said the speeding driver crashed into a car, went into the opposite lanes of the road, and crashed head-on with another car.
The driver of the sports car, identified as 20-year-old Kyle Campbell, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car he crashed head-on into, 25-year-old Eduardo Chavez Diaz, also died at the scene, police said…
