A Mesa apartment complex near Southern Avenue and Greenfield Road turned into a large police scene late Thursday afternoon after reports of shots fired and a person possibly barricaded inside one of the units. By the time the dust settled, officers had cleared the area, said everyone involved was in custody, and confirmed there were no injuries.
