PHOENIX (AZFamily) —Maricopa County Attorney Rachel Mitchell on Thursday announced indictments against three suspects over crimes against law enforcement that happened on the same night, just hours apart.
Prosecutors said Darrelle Bell, 51, was charged with 21 counts of aggravated assault after allegedly shooting a DPS trooper and hurting three others during a SWAT operation in central Phoenix on Feb. 5.
Bell was also charged with one count of unlawful discharge of a firearm and three counts of misconduct involving weapons, Mitchell said…
