ARIZONA — A man was critically injured in a shooting early Sunday morning in west Phoenix, police said.
Officers responded just after 3:15 a.m. to reports of gunfire near 40th Avenue and Whitton Avenue, south of Indian School Road. When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Paramedics transported the victim to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries. His identity has not yet been released…
