Over 170 arrests made during Scottsdale’s ‘human exploitation’ operation

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Over 100 arrests were made during a weeks-long operation focusing on child exploitation and sex trafficking across the Valley.

Scottsdale police said a total of 173 arrests were made during an operation led by the agency’s trafficking unit between Jan. 21 and Feb. 14. The proactive operation focused on identifying “sex buyers” and “child predators,” the agency said.

The operation was “decoy-based” and didn’t involve any actual children…
