Arizona employers signaled at least 80 job cuts in February, with most tied to retail operations in Phoenix. The largest filing came from Saks & Company, which reported 67 layoffs at its Camelback Road location.
The notices do not suggest a broad-based wave of job losses. But they show how national restructuring, including Saks’ bankruptcy, is beginning to show up locally.
