Permanent memorial for Emily Pike established in Mesa

PHOENIX — A permanent memorial for 14-year-old Emily Pike was installed Monday in Mesa, the city where the teen went missing over a year ago.

The tribute to Pike, located in Fitch Park, includes a Red Push Pistache tree, a granite plaque with her photo and an engraved bench.

A temporary memorial near Mesa Drive and McKellips Road will be dismantled by the family and brought to a separate San Carlos memorial on Highway 60 near Globe…
