TEMPE, AZ (AZFamily) — A man is behind bars nearly a year and a half later after allegedly stealing more than $150,000 from an ATM in Tempe.
After months of investigating, Tempe police arrested 36-year-old Diego Arriagada Cornejo who authorities say is from Chile.
Police say in the early morning hours of Oct. 4, 2024, Cornejo broke into a nail salon in a strip mall near Baseline Road and Hardy Drive. He allegedly cut a hole in the roof to get inside, then cut another hole in the wall to access a small room used to service a Wells Fargo ATM…
