High school in Mesa unveils new welding shop to prepare students for workforce

MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A Mesa high school is doing Something Good to prepare its students to enter the workforce.

American Leadership Academy Applied Technologies High School unveiled a new welding facility, complete with welding bays, on Feb. 26.

While completing their regular courses, students follow the NC3 curriculum, powered by Lincoln Electric, to earn industry-recognized certifications and badges for each welding process they complete…
