Gilbert Public Schools and Higley Unified both increased total per-pupil spending last school year over 2023-24, according to the Arizona Auditor General’s annual report on school districts’ expenditures.
But on a percentage of total dollars at their disposal, GPS’ classroom spending dipped slightly in that time while Higley’s increased a bit, the report shows.
