On a life-changing day dedicated to helping our neighbors, the Town of Gilbert partnered with the cities of Tempe, Chandler, and Mesa to host a transformative day of support for East Valley community members facing hardship.
Held at Redemption Gilbert, the East Valley Community Impact Day brought essential services together under one roof. About 300 individuals were connected to housing assistance, employment resources and benefits, healthcare services, pet vaccinations, clothing, professional grooming for job readiness, specialized support for families and veterans, and so much more.
To ensure accessibility for everyone, each participating city provided attendees with transportation to the event, removing barriers that often prevent individuals and families from getting the help they need.
“What makes this event truly unique is the collaboration,” said Linda Ayres, Gilbert’s Community Resources Program Supervisor. “All four cities came together with one goal: to deliver real services, in real time, to people who need them most.
