Arizona – Warm desert air already blankets the Phoenix metro this morning, and the sun will quickly push temperatures toward the low 80s by afternoon. Blue skies dominate early, but clouds may build later, bringing a brief chance for evening thunderstorms across parts of the Valley.
According to the National Weather Service in Phoenix, a slight chance of thunderstorms develops late today as moisture and instability drift into central Arizona.
