A ground stop was issued for flights at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport on Tuesday morning.
According to an advisory from the Federal Aviation Administration, a weather-related ground stop was effective for departures “due to low ceilings.”
The advisory applied to departures from select areas and expired around 8:30 a.m.
According to Sky Harbor’s website, there have been dozens of delayed flights, but only a couple of cancellations.
