MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A man with a lengthy criminal record is accused of breaking into a Mesa woman’s home and sexually assaulting her over the weekend.
The case is drawing attention to the dismantling of Repeat Offender Programs, or ROP units, that once operated across the Valley.
Arron Rojas, 30, is a seven-time convicted felon with a criminal history dating back to 2014. He has previously served prison time for burglaries, leaving the scene of an injury accident and resisting arrest.
