Person in custody after DPS uses grappler on SUV in far north Phoenix

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A driver was taken away in handcuffs after Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers had to use a grappler on an SUV before a standoff Wednesday night.

Aerials from Arizona’s Family News chopper showed a silver SUV’s left rear wheel was successfully caught in the net of a grappler and stopped on the Interstate 17 frontage road at Dixileta Drive.
