PHOENIX — A Mesa college student was arrested after joining a group of animal rights activists who broke into a Wisconsin research facility and took roughly 30 beagles. Video of the incident went viral on social media.
Misha Lunsky, a student at Mesa Community College, traveled to Wisconsin over spring break to take part in what activists described as a rescue mission at Ridglan Farms in Dane County. Dozens of activists entered the property on Sunday, cutting through a fence and forcing their way into buildings to remove dogs they alleged were being harmed.
Lunsky said they spent about $500 on airfare to participate in the effort…
