CHANDLER, AZ (AZFamily) — The family of a motorcyclist police say was intentionally run down in Chandler this week is speaking out as their loved one was taken off life support late Saturday night.
Dezjon Hamilton, 21, is brain dead with no brain function following a confrontation last Wednesday with 29-year-old Gustavo Elias, according to police and family members.
“Right now, he’s brain dead. He has no functions,” said Layla, Hamilton’s sister. “His heart’s still beating on his own, but he’s on a ventilator. As soon as we pull the plug, I mean, it’s over. He’s not waking up.”…
