PHOENIX, Arizona — A man being investigated for allegedly abusing a minor died by suicide on Wednesday as Phoenix police attempted to take him into custody, officials said.
The Phoenix Police Department responded to a call on March 23 for a report of sexual abuse of a juvenile. When they arrived, they made contact with an adult woman who disclosed that when she was 16, she had a sexual relationship with a staff member of the Paradise Valley Unified School District that lasted approximately three years.
