Crismon Road Connection from Elliot to Guadalupe Takes Step Forward With Funding and Design Progress

The long‑awaited connection of Crismon Road between Elliot Road and Guadalupe Road in southeast Mesa is making progress after years of planning, funding hurdles, and community discussion. According to transportation program documents, this new arterial segment is now officially in Mesa’s Capital Improvement Plan and moving toward design and construction phases.

The project will close a gap in one of Mesa’s key north‑south corridors, helping ease local traffic and support growth in residential and commercial areas between Elliot and Guadalupe. The extension involves building a new arterial roadway segment — including sidewalks, drainage, curb & gutter, and infrastructure improvements — to connect the currently disconnected sections along Crismon Road.
