An Arizona missing person case finally found its closure after 30 years. 13-year-old Christina Marie Plante, hailing from Star Valley in northeast Phoenix, had vanished without a trace in 1994. And now, a recent update on Wednesday by the Gila County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Plante had been found and was alive.
Plante’s disappearance had led to a volunteer search, but it turned futile since no leads could be found. These efforts of extensive search included combined efforts by local law enforcement, volunteers, and other regional sources. Even with repeated follow-ups, there was no success. However, the case was declared cold but not closed.
