Hiker fighting for life after being stung by swarm of bees in north Phoenix

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A hiker is in critical condition after being attacked by a swarm of bees on Lookout Mountain in north Phoenix Saturday morning.

Around 10 a.m., first responders were called to the mountain after reports that multiple people had been stung, including a man in his 30s who was reportedly stung dozens of times, according to the Phoenix Fire Department.

Firefighters hiked up the trail and found the man about three-quarters of the way up the mountain. Crews said he was alert and speaking, but had low blood pressure and was in critical condition…
