Road rage leads to shooting, crash and armed robbery in Phoenix, officials say

PHOENIX — An alleged road rage incident turned violent early Thursday morning, leading to a shooting, rollover crash, and armed robbery near Interstate 10 and 32nd Street, according to officials with the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Around 5 a.m., investigators said a man driving a Dodge Charger fired shots at another car during a road rage confrontation. The victim, who was driving a Chevrolet Malibu, was not struck, but the suspect inadvertently hit his own car.
