MESA, Ariz. — Residents of a Mesa mobile home park say they are scrambling to find housing after being told they must move out by the end of April, leaving many older adults with limited options and little time.
An eviction notice sent in October informed residents of La Casita Mobile Home Park that the land would be converted to commercial redevelopment, requiring tenants to vacate. Many of the park’s residents are over 55 and live on fixed incomes, making relocation especially difficult.
