PHOENIX — The man convicted of murdering a Scottsdale woman more than a decade ago will begin learning his fate on Wednesday morning as the sentencing phase gets underway in Maricopa County Superior Court.
Ian Mitcham was found guilty last week of first-degree murder, sexual assault and burglary in the 2015 death of 31-year-old Allison Feldman. Beginning at 10:30 a.m., jurors will decide whether Mitcham spends the rest of his life in prison or faces the death penalty — a process expected to stretch through the end of May.
