A POPULAR pit stop along Arizona’s “Valley of Sun” has reached the end of the road as customers have just weeks left to enjoy its sweet deserts.
The Picacho Peak Dairy Queen Travel Center – which has been running for more than 40 years – will finally close its doors at the end of May.
The travel center is one of the few stops on the Interstate 10 between Phoenix and Tucson.
But from May 31, exhausted drivers will no longer be able to enjoy an ice cold sundae or ice cream from the travel center which houses a Dairy Queen vendor…
