Nearly half of Mesa utility customers could see their monthly bill nudge up by $1.50—simply for receiving it in the mailbox.
The city’s Business Services Department is proposing a new Paper Utility Bill Mailing Fee, according to the department’s fees and charges report, which goes before the City Council on June 1. If approved, the fee takes effect October 1 and would apply per customer bill per month.
