PHOENIX (AZFamily) — High temperatures climbed to 99 degrees so far this afternoon, just above the seasonal average of 97. Tonight will remain mostly clear with overnight lows settling into the mid-70s.
Sunday brings more of the same across the Valley, with highs in the 99-100 range. There is a slight chance for a few light showers over the higher terrain southeast of Phoenix Sunday evening into early Monday morning. By Monday (Memorial Day), temperatures ease back slightly with a high near 98.
In the High Country on Monday, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected across northern and southeastern Arizona, including areas around Flagstaff and the White Mountains.
