A $39.5 million asking price puts a residence in rare company. At Faena Residences Miami, the more interesting proposition is what surrounds it: a riverfront address where architecture, interiors and cultural life are being conceived as parts of the same residential experience.
The newly unveiled Crown Residence leads the project’s penthouse collection. Designed across two levels by Faena Design Studio in collaboration with Bryan O’Sullivan Studio, it brings the brand’s expressive approach to hospitality into a private home above the Miami River. The announcement offers a closer look at the upper end of Faena Residences Miami, the development from Fortune International Group and KAR Properties.
A Private Home With a Distinct Design Identity
For the Crown Residence, the collaboration between Faena Design Studio and Bryan O’Sullivan Studio is central to the story. Faena’s identity has long been tied to art and theatrical settings; O’Sullivan’s practice brings experience across residential and hospitality interiors. Here, their work meets in a two-story penthouse conceived as the signature offering of the new collection.
The wider development pairs that interior-design approach with architecture by Rafael Viñoly Architects. Rather than presenting the penthouses as a separate design exercise, the project places them within a larger vision for serviced residential living, with spaces for culture, dining and wellness beyond the front door.
