Miami Beach Synagogue and Educational Center Targeted by Bomb Threat, Prompting Evacuation and Investigation

On Friday night, fear gripped the South Beach community as authorities responded to a bomb threat at Beit Chabad South Beach and the Lubavitch Educational Center at 1140 Alton Road. The response led to an evacuation and a road shutdown in the area. Miami Beach police were notified of a suspicious envelope discovered at the synagogue, which contained a handwritten letter signaling a potential bomb threat.
