MIAMI – Miami police arrested a man Friday after they said he cut a woman’s throat twice while raping her in the city’s Overtown neighborhood in late January.
Accused perpetrator Kevin Marvelle Smith, 54, is facing four felony charges, including attempted murder and armed sexual battery.
According to police, the victim and Smith, who is homeless, were acquaintances. On Jan. 30, police said the two got off a Miami trolley after the victim told Smith she had “nowhere to go.”…
