A memorial mass for former Congressman Lincoln Diaz-Balart being held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Miami tomorrow. Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz remembers her former colleague as a tireless freedom fighter. He was first elected to the Florida House in 1986, then served in Florida’s Senate before heading to Washington D.C. to serve in Congress from 1993 to 2011. Diaz-Balart died after battling cancer.
