Chantal G. Osborne, Director of Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ (M-DCPS) Lindsey Hopkins Technical College, has been named one of three finalists for Florida’s 2025 Principal of the Year award.
“Ms. Osborne is without a doubt a true leader, a passionate leader,” said Rene Mantilla, assistant superintendent, Office of Post Secondary and Career and Technical Education. “She represents what it means to be a post-secondary college, to engage the community, the private sector. She’s an amazing leader and truly a testament to what we produce here at M-DCPS, your best choice.”
Last year, Osborne won top honors as M-DCPS’ Principal of the Year. For the past 29 years, she has been an educator at the District, beginning as a teacher for 18 years before moving up to assistant principal and then principal.
