Donatella Boutique Hotel to Debut in Miami Beach in May

Travel advisors with luxury clients heading to Miami Beach may want to take note of a new boutique property set to open just steps from Ocean Drive. Expected to welcome guests in May, the Donatella Boutique Hotel will offer an intimate stay in the Art Deco district, along with an upscale Southern Italian restaurant led by a Naples-born chef.

“With every property, from The Setai, Miami Beach to the former Versace Mansion, our mission has always been to create memorable experiences that reflect Miami’s unique character. The Donatella Boutique Hotel is the ideal sister property to the former Versace Mansion, with its Neo-Mediterranean elegance and storied heritage,” said Joe Nakash, Chairman. The Setai Hotel, in a press statement.

The 6-room hotel is located at 1350 Collins Avenue, a historic building originally designed in 1922 by Wallace Tutt, the architect behind the famed Versace Mansion. The Donatella property shares ownership ties with that iconic South Beach landmark—now known as The Villa Casa Casuarina—and is backed by hospitality companies Nakash Group (The Setai, Miami Beach) and Vida & Estilo Hospitality Group.

Donatella Boutique Hotel aims to deliver a curated luxury experience with Mediterranean-inspired interiors and Miami’s signature Art Deco designs. Designed by Mico Design Studio, the rooms feature stone and wood accents, gold detailing and luxury furnishings. A dedicated concierge and butler service will cater to each guest, with additional amenities such as beach access with daybeds, fitness center privileges and spa treatments available through partner locations…
