Florida Keys deputies arrested a Miami man on DUI and child neglect charges Wednesday who identified himself as a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent, according to the sheriff’s office.
Monroe County deputies pulled over Scott Thomas Deiseroth, 42, around 3:20 p.m. near mile marker 36.5 on Bahia Honda Key after getting a call from another motorist about a car driving recklessly, swerving and going into oncoming traffic, said sheriff’s office spokesman Adam Linhardt.
When deputies got to the car, they found two children, ages 7 and 9, inside. They also smelled a strong odor of booze coming off Deiseroth, Linhardt said, who added the suspect was taken to jail after failing field sobriety exercises…
